Does anyone else have a passion for coffee? I know I can't start my day without thinking about coffee. I found it awkward not to be involve with coffee in anyways. Recently finished a bag of Papua New Guinea that I picked up from The Steeping Room last Wednesday. Finished 100 grams of home roasted Kenya on Friday. Gotten freshly Roasted Ethiopia Sidamo from Ian Consulta at Soho7 which I planned to finish it tommorrow. Shared a bag of roast-to-demand Ethiopian Sidamo today with Terence which i gotten from CuppaChoice. I'm not a coffee geek (yet) nor do I know all the intricacies of brewing/grinding/roasting coffee, I'm just a guy who drinks coffee and likes what he likes.
That being said I'm really enjoyed the Full City Roasted Ethiopia Sidamo and so did Terence. It had a really subtle mocha(ish) but rich flavor and is amazingly smooth, quite possibly the smoothest coffees that I've tried to date. I like my coffee black and can usually taste the acidity but that is pretty much gone from this particular brew virtually no "bite".
I've currently got no coffee right now. I'm itching to have some now!!
